In 1989 Lisa accepted a teaching position at a large dance school in Darwin, N.T. where she stayed for 2 years. During that time, she was approached to join the contemporary dance company, Tracks Dance. Lisa danced with Tracks for 4 years and performed in three major professional seasons and numerous community dance projects, working with choreographers David McMicken, Tim Newth, Sarah Calver and Maggi Phillips. In 1991 she decided to open her own school which became the largest dance school in Darwin. With over 270 students, she operated the school for nearly 10 years. In 2007 her husband’s work brought the family to Perth and she quickly began teaching again. “I am delighted to be joining Dance Fit Dance Academy in 2022.
