Liam WhiteLiam started dance at the age of 13 at Newtown High School of the Performing Arts before receiving a scholarship to continue his studies at the McDonald College of the Performing Arts.
Following his secondary education, he decided to pursue ballet as a career and was accepted into Tanya Pearson’s Classical Coaching Academy as a full-time student. Subsequentially Liam did an audition tour around Europe, receiving several offers from ballet academies before completing his studies at Akademie des Tanzes Mannheim and Staatliche Balletschule Berlin graduating with a Master of Arts majoring in dance and dance teaching. Liam then went on to dance professionally as a soloist and group dancer in Ballet Magdeburg and Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe as well as guesting as a soloist artist at the Columbian National Ballet. Liam is now a highly respected ballet teacher specialising in Vaganova and Pas de Deux. His students benefit greatly from his patience and attention to detail. Liam is very excited to start sharing his knowledge with the students at DFDA |

Mackenzie ColborneMackenzie is looking forward to the 2024 dance season at DFDA!
Mackenzie has been dancing since she was 5. She then began competing when she turned 8. She has experience in many styles of dance including Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip-Hop and Acrobatics. Mackenzie moved to Dance Fit Dance Academy in 2013, where she participated in many end of year concerts and competed at numerous competitions. She then received the Junior Scholarship for 2016. When Mackenzie turned 12 she began her role as an assistant teacher. This is when she found her passion for teaching and choreographing. Mackenzie danced all throughout high school, this included successfully auditioning for the Dance Extension Troupe in all years. She has competed in many competitions through school. Mackenzie has trained in READY Set Dance & READY Set Ballet, & most recently she has completed her Alixa Flexibility Module 1 & Acrobatic Arts Module 1. Mackenzie is so excited to continue teaching at DFDA in 2024 and can’t wait to see her students grow and develop! |
